Let’s talk about meaning.
When we’re living in alignment with our deepest values- our heart story- vitality and clarity are with us.
We can meet life’s challenges when we know that what we’re doing matters and that, at the end of the day, the world will be a little better- perhaps a little bit kinder, perhaps a little more beautiful, because we were here.
Nobody else can tell you what your own heart story is; not your parents, not your boss, and not your therapist either.
My job is to create a safe place to assist you to talk about what matters most to you.
You might want to talk about your relationships, or explore your identity, or talk about your job, or your sex life. Any of those are perfect places to begin.
The amazing thing about uncovering your heart story is that you can start almost anywhere.
I use a variety of tools and work with clients to determine which are right for them. Some of these include mindfulness, parts of self, and solution focused conversations. I also use tools from a type of therapy called Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. And, always held within the larger frame - a wholeness, strengths-based perspective.
My training is in ecotherapy, rite of passage, and women's spirituality. I value an embodied love for earth, the senses, personal sovereignty, and the integrity that comes from recognizing our interconnectedness in the larger web of life that we’re a part of.
I am a feminist, sex positive, kink and poly friendly, and LGBTQIA+ allied.
And all of this brings us back full circle to the question of meaning. I create a safe place for my clients to talk about meaning, belief, and life choices.
The meanings you take and the choices you make are yours alone. Nobody can tell you what your own heart story is, but we are all in need of judgement free spaces where conversations about meaning can be had.
I will respect your conclusions, your own choice of words, beliefs, and ways of knowing.
I invite you to a safe, creative space to explore your own heart story. Let me know if I can answer any questions, and let me know how I can help!
